What we do

truck

We specialise in the design and implementation of Environmental Management Systems. We deliver services in key environmental waste-management areas including reuse, recycling, energy, renewables and education that will benefit every business and ensure you meet and exceed your environmental responsibilities.

Environmental Management

Landfill as an end point for commercial waste is an archaic concept that is commercially in decline. Alternative solutions for dealing with the disposal of waste from businesses are required that meet commercial, operational and ethical standards. We have built an impressive network of solutions that we currently offer our clients—resulting in increased levels of sustainability, efficiency and a reduction in costs.

We have growing experience in commodity trading and can often help your business turn waste from a cost into a resource, generating revenues from materials such as cardboard, plastics and wood.

Our key expertise lies in bringing together the technological solutions available with a growing market demand for effective services management, coupled with an environmental duty to create long-term sustainable solutions.

Where a process exists we will constantly strive to find ways to improve it. Where a technology exists we will look for ways to update it and where a system exists we will find ways to make it more efficient and more profitable.

Holistic Solutions

Our services are designed to be modular so that you can select individual elements that suit your requirements, but it is as a total solution that we can really make a difference.

Full Waste Audits

To move forward to have to know where you are now, and this audit will help you to understand where your business lies, both in terms of its potential and its responsibilities.

Waste Stream Analysis

Understanding exactly what waste is being produced in the company is key to succcesful management and cost savings. A technical analysis will establish volumes, quantities and types of waste for us make appropriate recommendations.

Report Driven

Managing targets and performance is impossible without the right data. From the initial analyses to ongoing reporting you will always have the facts you need for proper decision making.

Due Diligence Environmental Assessments (DDEA)

Complex environmental legislation may impose significant environmental liabilities on purchasers, sellers, lenders, banks or other parties involved in a business or property transaction.

The aim of an Environmental Due Diligence Audit (EDD) is to identify and evaluate actual and potential environmental liabilities and risks associated with a property to be transferred and thus provide the clients with a baseline for decision-making and timely management of their risks during such a transaction. The first step of an EDD Audit is a Phase I Environmental Assessment eventually followed with a Phase II Site Assessment.

We conduct EDDs for single industrial or commercial propertiesand frequently includes an evaluation of the compliance status of the site and operations conducted at the site.

In general, the Phase II ESA involves a focused soil, soil-gas or groundwater sampling and analysis programme. Based on the information obtained through the Phase I ESA—site geology, hydrogeology, nature of the anticipated subsurface impact, nearest sensitive receptors, migration pathways, etc.—and on your particular objectives and needs, we develop a site specific investigation strategy and sampling and analysis programme, and selects optimal drilling and sampling techniques and chemical analysis methods.

We cooperate with qualified and reliable subcontractors for field activities (drilling, sampling, surveying etc.) and accredited environmental laboratories for scientific analyses.

Phase II ESA data are compared with the national environmental standards. The significance of detected subsurface impact is evaluated with respect to local and regional environmental conditions and the presence of sensitive receptors such as groundwater or surface water uses, background environmental quality, proximity to residential areas, etc.

As a final result of the Phase II ESA, we provide you with options and recommendations for follow‑up activities such as further investigation, monitoring, risk assessment or remediation.
